district leader.

daniel is now a senior companion and district leader in calais, france! it is hard to believe that he has been out long enough for that, but it's incredibly exciting. i'm so proud of him, and i'm grateful for the amazing example he is to me and others. i received a letter and some photos last week, and i'm looking forward to talking with him on the phone for christmas in a few short weeks! :]

giving thanks.

i am so thankful for everything in my life! i have wonderful family and friends and i'm so grateful for the joy and happiness that we share. this thanksgiving my family and i went to boise to celebrate in my brother-in-law and sister's new home. It is an adorable house, but it was even more exciting to play with their new puppy, quigley! we spent the day making homemade headbands and watching movies. thanksgiving dinner was postponed until seven at night because of brandon's work schedule, but it was delicious! i had so much fun being with my family, and i'm looking forward to making many more memories in a few weeks for christmas!

three years ago today...daniel told me he loved me for the first time. miss him. love him.

halloween.

i just love the month of october and i love halloween! this past month was filled with halloween activities. i went to the haunted mill in rexburg with a large group of friends. it was super scary, but not nearly as frightening as the haunted house i attended the next weekend in salt lake city. it was called nightmare on 13th street and has been rated number one scariest haunted house in america by travel channel! it was forty-five minutes of pure terror and i can't believe i made it out alive! i guess i hadn't been scared enough because the following day we went to lagoon frightmares. it was a blast! i was a scuba diver for halloween this year. my costume was fun. it even had live gold fish in the tanks. i had an awesome halloween and i hope everyone else did as well!! :]















I also got a special halloween surprise...pictures from daniel!! hurray!! he got transferred to a new area, and is continuing to do well. i can't believe how fast time is flying by! i will get to talk to him on the phone is less than two months!! i miss him and love him!

a couple weeks ago i purchased some hair extensions. i haven't ever had extensions before, but they are pretty fun. my brother-in-law probably enjoyed them the most though!!

fall fun.

i absolutely love the fall and all of the fun activities that accompany it! i truly enjoy school and i love being a college student. work has also been a blast. i love all my kids. life is great!
